Disclaimer: I might not make much sense, but whatever, I'm way past caring.
Meet my latest motto (shake hands and be nice) :
Also, I'm sure you've heard this a million times, but still I have to mention it: don't change yourself for others. For instance, just because whatever you feel comfortable wearing isn't the latest trend, doesn't mean you can't wear it. They're still going to judge anyway, so might as well be happy with yourself while they judge you. Why bother giving them the satisfaction they crave for? Truthfully speaking, I feel that people who aren't afraid of being different and/or being themselves are totally worth the respect (of course if it isn't something illegal like being some psychopath who murders children when they're sleeping *gulps*). But of course, don't go overboard. Some fashion sense are just plain painful for the eyes. And hey, while some (like me) might not appreciate it, I'm sure SOMEONE out there might, so don't fret. At the same time, I feel I have to mention this although it's pretty contradicting to what I've just said, don't always try to be different. Yes, everyone's saying that we should be different—lol, even I just did—but sometimes being different isn't the way to go. Just try to be yourself, and do things you're comfortable in. Yes, while it might be good to venture out of your comfort zone, at times, it might be better to stay in your comfort zone. Ultimately, it's all up to you, so you have to remember that you're responsible for your actions.
Here's to those who are trying to be yourselves in our brutal, condemning society:
I always drift off from the main point and start to not make sense when I write lengthy posts—which is why I rarely write them. Ha.
By the way, out of impulse, I deleted my Instagram. It's probably for the better though.
Goodnight (or morning, afternoon, whatever time it is) guys, x.
I didn't change, I grew up. You should try it sometime.
