Let me clear this up before you get the wrong idea. NO, I did not participate in Sundown marathon or did any sort of running, whatsoever (I'd probably cry halfway if I did, though I feel like trying it out someday.. ah the masochism in me). Instead, I joined the crew and helped out facilitating the event. My friends and I were stationed near the baggage area, right before the starting line. We were to assist any runners if they needed directions or had any queries. But basically, we didn't do much and bored out of our wits. We even resorted to playing with our raincoats, that were given to us 'cause it drizzled at some point in time, by crushing them into balls and kicking it around like a soccer ball—yeah, that bored. Thankfully my company was a fun bunch so it didn't end up as bad as it should have been.






We had no intentions of participating in any games for Funfestique (MJC's games day) this year. We were just cheering on our classmates who were playing basketball when Amanda asked us to try our luck and sign up for Laser Tag. So we did. We played really badly in the first round because we didn't even know where the opponent team was. BUT, surprise surprise, it turns out we got in the finals for god-knows-what-reasons. Honestly speaking, I think there was a miscalculation somewhere when they were sorting out the scores but oh well. Our gain. Hehe. Our team was hyped up and after a round of intense firing and running (cue some intense drama bgm), WE WON WOOHOO.
