Paris, France | Place d'Italie

Arrived at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in the morning and had breakfast at McDonald's before heading off to our hotel, Best Western Paris Italie. Please note that it's strictly a flat rate fee of either €50 (right bank) or €55 (left bank) for the taxi ride between CDG Airport and Paris. You can view more info here.

There is a chance that some people will approach you right before you enter the taxi stand, probably unlicensed taxi drivers, telling you to hop on to their vehicles. Please do not go because they'll charge you a far higher rate — they told us our fare would be €90, instead of the flat rate of €55 (we were heading to Paris left bank). Just reject their offer and head to the taxi stand.

Uber's always an alternative but might not be cheaper.

Upon reaching our hotel, we researched where to have our lunch and found this lovely Turkish restaurant, Hêvî. Service was amazing, the waitress who took our orders was super friendly and patient with us. We didn't realise we get to choose a sauce to go with our food (there were like about 10 different types), so seeing we looked so lost and indecisive, she told us she'll just give us several to try.

The portions were generous and so darn good. My dad got the kebab sandwich (left) which was about €6. The platters cost between €9-€13, depending on the type of meat you chose. We got the kebab (right), poulet and chicken curry. All of them were good but we loved the kebab the most.

Reims, France | Our Lady of Reims (French: Notre-Dame de Reims)

Hopped onto our tour bus the next morning and left for Reims.

A Christmas market right outside the cathedral.

Luxembourg City, Luxembourg | Christmas Market @ Place de la Constitution

Adolphe Bridge

Quick dinner at a Chinese restaurant, Dancing Noodles. Beef noodles were ok, but don't get the wanton noodles. Also, if you've been spoiled by Din Tai Fung for its xiaolongbao like me, please don't ever try this. The skin was so thick and there wasn't any soup inside.

P.S. Most of the food photos are not edited (only these two at Dancing Noodles were). They were a last minute addition from bro's phone camera and got lazy to edit them. Hehe.
