Quote-of-the-post: “Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.” ― Dr. Seuss

I was just put out of my misery.
Got back my O-Level results today! WOOOOOOOOH, I've gotten an eleven. :D I'm so freaking glad. I wasn't expecting any single digits or whatsoever, so eleven is great, fantastic even. Hehe.

Any other 2012 O'level candidates out there? I hope you guys got what you had expected! If not, it's alright, it's over. Just f**k it and move on, don't waste your precious time brooding over it. Just work even harder if you intend to retake or in whatever school you're heading to! YOU CAN DO IT!

I'm back from my HK trip, gonna update about it this weekend probably! No promises though, I might get lazy and delay. Heehee, forgive me ;)

By the way, I've just read two books and I just have to share them!!
The first one is Hopeless by Colleen Hoover.
Just click the link on the word 'Hopeless' above and you can find reviews both with and without spoilers as you scroll down the page! Well, what can I say, this book was absolutely brilliant! It was pretty mind-blowing when everything unravels. You could predict half of the mystery but the other half totally blew me off! So..., you should totally check it out!

Ohoh, before I forget, there's a Bonus Scene for Hopeless from Holder's point of view (POV)! Read it only after you finish the whole book, since there are spoilers!

Life is real and sometimes it’s ugly and you just have to learn how to cope.

Next, we have The Edge of Never written by J.A. Redmerski.
First off, I've never wanted to go on a spontaneous road trip this badly in my life. I've always thought road trips are cool, since I'll never be able to do it here in Singapore. Come on, look at how tiny we are, road trips would totally suck terribly. So, after reading this book, I'm like "AHHHH I NEED TO GO FOR A ROAD TRIP. NOW. PRONTO." I finished it during one of the nights at Hong Kong, so I practically had to calm myself down in order to sleep (it was pretty late at night already and my mum was nagging).

Anyhoo, it's under New Adult genre, so there are some spicy stuff in there! Another plus is that it's in both POVs, so you get the chance to enter the male lead's mind :3 I've always liked books with his-her-POVs. It's nice once in a while to read from the guys' perspective.

Just that dwelling and planning is bullshit, you dwell on the past, you can’t move forward. Spend too much time planning for the future and you just push yourself backwards, or you stay stagnant in the same place all your life. Live in the moment, where everything is just right, take your time and limit your bad memories and you’ll get wherever it is you’re going a lot faster and with less bumps in the road along the way.

Alright-o, that's about it!
