This year's chosen spot for our island getaway was Lombok, Indonesia. It all started with a search for a villa with SEA region, and this airbnb (Villa Malolo within Villas Niyama) cropped up. Immediately, we knew that this was it and off we went!
It has been.. a while. Well, here I am again.
Went on a trip to Phuket, Thailand very recently and had an absolutely fantastic time there.
- Part 2 out of 7 -
Trier, Germany | Porta Nigra
We were pretty lucky that it snowed the night before, allowing us to have pretty pictures! (PS. It was a Sunday, hence the lack of crowds everywhere and the mostly closed shops.)
- Part 1 out of 7 -
Paris, France | Place d'Italie
Arrived at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport in the morning and had breakfast at McDonald's before heading off to our hotel, Best Western Paris Italie. Please note that it's strictly a flat rate fee of either €50 (right bank) or €55 (left bank) for the taxi ride between CDG Airport and Paris. You can view more info here.
There is a chance that some people will approach you right before you enter the taxi stand, probably unlicensed taxi drivers, telling you to hop on to their vehicles. Please do not go because they'll charge you a far higher rate — they told us our fare would be €90, instead of the flat rate of €55 (we were heading to Paris left bank). Just reject their offer and head to the taxi stand.
Uber's always an alternative but might not be cheaper.
Upon reaching our hotel, we researched where to have our lunch and found this lovely Turkish restaurant, Hêvî. Service was amazing, the waitress who took our orders was super friendly and patient with us. We didn't realise we get to choose a sauce to go with our food (there were like about 10 different types), so seeing we looked so lost and indecisive, she told us she'll just give us several to try.
Check out Part i here if you have not!

My super vain cousin |
Part ii is up here.
I realised I haven't finished editing the photos from my previous trip to BKK. But I'm done with this one so yay and maybe someday I'll finish those. *fingers crossed*
Spent 4 very short nights at BKK barely a week ago with my cousin and aunt! Had a blast, as always, and super happy to get whatever I wanted to (and more). We arrived at Don Muang Airport at almost midnight since we took a night flight and spent close to two freaking hours at the immigration queue. I don't remember queuing that long during my last trip there.
PART I / II
It's been a really long time, I know. Rest assured, I have something super fun for you guys! Flew to Bangkok, Thailand for a short 4D3N trip with Amanda, Chun Kit and Gerald back in early August. Yes, I know, kind of surprised myself that it was actualised. But we did not have any itinerary or plans made prior to our trip. All we did was book our tickets and settle our lodging (Airbnb). #noregrets
Ok, like the trip was, it's going to be a short two-part series (unlike my usual "overseas" posts).
Final post for Disney World.
We walked around Disney Springs again (but in the day this time round). It's really insane how much effort was put in in the designs, both interior and exterior, for the shops and restaurants.
Happy New Year readers! :)
If you don't know already, I went to USA during my winter break with my family, Ethel and her mother. So, I spent half my December , which also means half my holidays (urgh holidays need to be longer), there. Stayed in Orlando for 9 nights and New York for another 4 nights. It's my first time in Orlando, the land of theme parks (as I'd like to call it).
